SmartVu™ › Sidebar › Widgets: Supported Types

The VUFRAME® Widget System allows you to customize the content of your SmartVu’s™ sidebar. Currently, sidebar widgets are only available for the default SmartVu™ template, but will soon be added to other SmartVu types. This article will list the various types of widgets and explain how they work.

1. Product Information Widgets

Product information widgets allow you to display information about the products featured in your SmartVu™. If you don’t add any widgets to your SmartVu™, these widgets will be added by default.

Note: Each of these widgets can only be used once per SmartVu™.

1.1 ‹Title› Widget

Displays the title of the currently selected product. If the title of the product is not set, the widget will show the title of the corresponding 3D item.

1.2 ‹Description› Widget

Displays the description of the currently selected product. In case the product description is not set, the widget will not be visible.

1.3 ‹Hashtag› Widget

Displays the hashtags of the 3D item used by the currently selected product. If the item doesn’t have any hashtags, the widget will not be shown.

1.4 ‹Price› Widget

Displays the price of the currently selected product.
This widget will not be visible if the product’s price isn’t set.

1.5 ‹Product List› Widget

Displays a list of all products featured in your SmartVu™. This allows the user to switch between the available products. If your SmartVu™ only contains one product, this widget will not be visible.

1.6 ‹Related Products› Widget

This widget behaves the same way as the product list widget, but shows the SmartVu’s related products.

2. Custom Widgets

Custom widgets allow you to enrich your SmartVu™ with custom content and interactions.

2.1 ‹Text› Widget

Displays a custom text.
This widget supports HTML formatting (bold, italic and underlined text) as well as hyperlinks.

2.2 ‹Caption› Widget

Displays a custom caption.
This widget supports HTML formatting (bold, italic and underlined text) as well as hyperlinks.

2.3 ‹Action Button› Widget

Displays a button that triggers a custom action such as opening a website, showing an image popup or executing 3D commands to modify your scene. You can configure the available actions under the Actions tab of your SmartVu.
