How to create a SmartVu®
Learn how to create a SmartVu® in Vuframe® Studio by uploading your CAD / 3D file
- 1.
- 2.Create a new SmartVu® by clicking on the + SmartVu® Button
- 3.Choose the appropriate file format (.fbx, .c4d, .obj or .vf3d) and upload your files

- 4.Drag & Drop your file to upload it
- 5.By clicking the SmartVu® card you can see all important information about SmartVu®
- 🏠 Overview: 3D preview & details about SmartVu®
- ℹ️ Summary: Information about the original file and the converted file
- 📊 Analytics: Views (Daily, Monthly, Overall)
- 🗃️ Filesize: Allocation of SmartVu’s® file size
- 🔗 References: Publication of this SmartVu® in any apps or collections
- 🔄 Versions: Versioning of SmartVu®
- 6.Click on “Edit SmartVu®” to edit SmartVu®
- 7.Now enter your title, description and hashtags
- 8.Upload a preview image (or keep the default image)
- 9.Save your changes and preview SmartVu® (SmartVu® is not shared publicly)
- 10.Share SmartVu® publicly (copy share link or view share page)

- 1.You need to upgrade to at least the Starter Plan (see all Plans)
- 2.Go to SmartVu® files and upload the files you want to add to the sidebar (JPG, JPEG, PNG, PDF)
- 3.Add actions: Enter title & description and choose the related file you want to open. You can also open another type of action by adding another button action below.
- Open Website: Enter a hyperlink ( ⚠️ Please enter the full ULR incl. http(s):// … )
- Popup with image (and action button): shows a popup with an image and button linking to another action
- Popup with PDF (and action button): shows a popup with a PDF and button linking to another action
- Popup with text (and action button): shows a popup with a HTML formatted text and button linking to another action
- Popup with video (and action button): shows a popup with a video and button linking to another action
- Play audio: plays an audio file
- 4.Add actions to the sidebar: go to the sidebar tab and choose the widget you want to add
- Text: Displays a custom text
- Action Button: Displays a button that triggers one of the actions above. Enter Title, choose the assigned action and customize the button look by choosing a color.
ℹ️ In Starter you can not change the default widgets. - 5.Save your changes and preview SmartVu® (SmartVu® is not shared publicly)
- 6.Share SmartVu® publicly (copy share link or view share page)
